Already in April 1994 architect Oswald Hundegger was waiting in front of our door. At that time it was still a garage door. The reason for him waiting was the renovation of the garage to turn it into a production as well as a salesroom. 

The rest is history one could say and still Hubert Berger and Oswald Hundegger like to talk about old times when they are having a coffee in the morning occasionally.

Oswald together with Jürgen Trixl founded “bergwerk Architekten” in 2010 and meanwhile they have bases in Lofer as well as in Graz and Munich. Together they have planned and implemented the expansion of the company headquarters in 2012 as well as our FEINHEIT in 2018.

“Oswald is the practitioner, the implementer. Jürgen is part of the younger generation. His strength lies in the idea generation. Together they are a superb team.”, says Hubert Berger.

The collaborative cooperation is also seen in the chocolate bars branded with the design of bergwerk Architekten. Chocolate, one might even say, is Jürgen’s source of inspiration and Oswald’s nourishment for his nerves.
